Rental Cars at DFW Airport and Dallas Love Field
Rental car arrangements differ between Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Dallas Love Field (DAL). Check your pickup airport, rental company and confirmation instructions before travelling.
Rental cars at DFW International Airport
DFW operates a consolidated Rental Car Center serving the airport’s five terminals. Free airport shuttle buses connect the terminals with the Rental Car Center. Follow the airport’s ground transportation signs and check your rental provider’s instructions for the correct pickup and return process.
Use the official DFW transportation page for current Rental Car Center information, directions and service notices.
Rental cars at Dallas Love Field
Rental car counters and shuttle pickup arrangements are available at Dallas Love Field. The airport’s official ground transportation information explains where rental car counters and shuttles are located. Check the Love Field ground transportation page and confirm details with your rental company.

- Check after-hours pickup and return arrangements before booking.
- Allow extra time for shuttle transfers and airport traffic.
- Keep your rental confirmation and the provider’s local contact details available.
