Dallas Airport Terminals: DFW and Dallas Love Field
The Dallas area is served by two different airports. Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) has five passenger terminals, while Dallas Love Field (DAL) has one passenger terminal. They are not interchangeable.
DFW International Airport: Terminals A, B, C, D and E
DFW’s five terminals are arranged around the airport’s road and rail network. Airline and gate assignments can change, so use your boarding pass and the airport’s live information rather than relying on an old terminal listing.
- Terminal A: passenger terminal with direct access to the DART Orange Line station.
- Terminal B: terminal access to DART’s Silver Line and Trinity Metro TEXRail connections.
- Terminal C: one of DFW’s major domestic terminals.
- Terminal D: DFW’s principal international terminal, also serving some domestic flights.
- Terminal E: separate terminal connected to the other terminals by the airport’s people-mover system.
DFW’s free Skylink people mover connects the terminals inside the secure area. The Terminal Link shuttle serves landside terminal transfers. Follow airport signage and allow enough time for security and connections.
See the official DFW Airport website for terminal maps, flight information and current notices.
Dallas Love Field (DAL): one passenger terminal
Love Field has one passenger terminal serving its airline operations. Check the airport’s official website for the terminal map, airline information, amenities and passenger services.
Before you travel
- Confirm DFW or DAL on your ticket.
- Check the airline’s latest terminal and gate assignment.
- At DFW, check the best route between terminals and whether you need to leave the secure area.
- At Love Field, follow signs for ticketing, security, baggage claim and ground transportation.
Terminal operations and gate assignments may change. Always confirm with your airline and airport on the day of travel.
